Melanie Renee Shepherd

Melanie Renee Shepherd age 54, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Melanie was born in Mt. Sterling, KY, on December 11, 1969, the daughter of Charles and Irma Shepherd. She loved Jesus with all her heart. Melanie loved sports, gardening, bass fishing, bargain shopping, woodworking, and restoring jewelry boxes.

In addition to her parents, survivors include four brothers, Tim Shepherd (Kristen), Jon Shepherd (Debbie), Daniel Shepherd (Rica), and Andrew Shepherd (Megan). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Solomon’s House, 16 Glenron Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37415, Ooltewah Church of Christ, 3206 Ooltewah Ringgold Rd, Ooltewah, TN 37363, or In Search of the Lord’s Way, P.O. Box 371, Edmond, OK 73083-9901.
