Edward J. "Rick" Reachard, Jr.

Edward J. “Rick” Reachard, Jr. age 66, of Ringgold, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Mr. Reachard was born in Chattanooga, TN, on December 15, 1955, the son of Jan O’Neal and the late Edward J. Reachard, Sr. He graduated from Red Bank High School, where he was number forty, a first-string running back all three years, 1971-1973.

After high school, Mr Reachard graduated from UT Knoxville with degrees in psychology and nursing. For the next 40 years, he worked as a psychiatric RN at various facilities in the Chattanooga area.

Mr. Reachard was an avid Braves and AL football fan. He loved nature, animals, music, and playing golf.

In addition to his mother and brother Danny (Le), Rick will be lovingly remembered by his best friend of twenty-five years, Carol (Bruce) Lebovitz and her children, Nichole Kutil, Mireille Evatt-Mudd (Michael), and Jihan Gulley (Jordan) and grandchildren, Cheney Ellis, Keely Kutil, Ava Mudd, Luke McGinnis, and Elias Gulley.

A Celebration of Life will be held later.
